Limits & Pricing
Terranode is currently in Beta with a free tier available to all users. Pro and Scale tiers are coming soon.
Free tier

All pre-loaded system datasets are available at no cost on every tier.
Batch counting
Section titled “Batch counting”Each point in a batch request counts as one request against your monthly quota. A 100-point batch call uses 100 requests.
Rate limiting
Section titled “Rate limiting”When you exceed your per-second rate limit, the API returns 429 Too Many Requests. Wait and retry — the rate limit resets each second.
Monthly quota
Section titled “Monthly quota”Your request quota resets on the 1st of each month at midnight UTC. When you hit the monthly limit, the API returns 429. Use the usage endpoint to check your remaining quota.
Pro and Scale (coming soon)
Section titled “Pro and Scale (coming soon)”Higher request quotas, more custom datasets, larger batch sizes, and priority support. Details will be published here when available.
Pricing principles
Section titled “Pricing principles”- All spatial operations (PIP, nearest, distance, spatial join) are available on every tier, including free.
- System datasets are free on all tiers.
- Custom dataset storage is retained indefinitely — no archival surprises.
- All requests count against your monthly limit regardless of how they reach the API (direct, Zapier, n8n, MCP, or any other integration).
